You know sometimes I just want to go POSTAL on everything and everybody! If theres one thing that PISSES me off more than anything, that’s being BROKE!!! I’am quite sure the average person will agree with me on this. The question each and everyone of us needs to ask ourselves is-

HOW IS JOB OUTSOURCING AFFECTING ME ?

Now anybody with any common sense can see that JOB OUTSOURCING has a NEGATIVE affect on America as a whole. But many of us know alot of people don’t have common sense nowadays. What’s got me VEXED is,  you’ve  got average people and STUPID ASS POLITICIANS everywhere AGREEING with and SUPPORTING JOB OUTSOURCING.

I DON’T GET IT!

There are economist on both sides of this issue. Some say JOB OUTSOURCING is making the economy stronger and creating more jobs, and some say it’s hurting the average working American. How can anyone as an average working American SUPPORT  giving American JOBS to FOREIGNERS ? How is this bettering the country ? Am I missing something here ? Now hold up, I can see this benefiting all these GREEDY ass American companies, and lining CEO pockets to the brim, but what good is it doing us average workers ?

ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING IF YOU ASK ME!

I’ll tell you what OUTSOURCING does-

• OUTSOURCING is TAKING JOBS from Americans who were born here.
• OUTSOURCING is making companies RICHER and JOBS more SCARCE.
• OUTSOURCING encourages companies to hire many illegal immigrants.
• OUTSOURCING encourages companies to continue paying less than sufficient wages.
• OUTSOURCING encourages overall GREED.

OUTSOURCING really Encourages the (Do Whatever It Takes To Get Rich) mentality. In the meanwhile SHIT ON YOUR OWN! Let’s get one thing straight, those of you who are in support of JOB OUTSOURCING, are in effect SABOTAGING yourselves and your country, POINT BLANK! You have foreigners everywhere in the community with Resturants, Gas-stations,  and Hair-stores. Now true enough these businesses do supply a need, but most of them DO NOT HIRE American workers.

To me this is an INSULT and an INJUSTICE without a doubt. This is telling me it’s ok to TAKE MY MONEY, but it’s not ok to HIRE ME! This is also a form of PREJUDICEY. It’s ok to SUCK from the community, but don’t give anything back to it!

YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!

This is the same mentality of corporate America, SUCK the community dry, but give back NOTHING. Doesn’t anybody care anymore ? This is getting rediculous, and things just don’t show any sign of getting better. For all you mis-informed people out there in case you haven’t heard-

2.3 million JOBS have been OUTSOURCED to CHINA under the BUSH administration, backed by McCAIN. BUSH has allowed CHINA to violate trade rules and it’s own labor laws to increase profits for multinational corporations at the EXPENSE OF WORKERS! “EMPLOYERS DON’T CARE ABOUT US!!!!  OK???” I don’t know about the rest of you, but OUTSOURCING is taking food out of my mouth, and my families. Hey anyone supporting this mess should be Hog-tied, Tar-feathered, SHOT and THROWN into the bottom of the OCEAN with CONCRETE BOOTS on!! No questions asked.

The nations UNEMPLOYMENT rate JUMPED to a FIVE-YEAR high of (5.7%) last month! Ruffly 3 MILLION people are out of work this very moment!  The age of working a job that gives 40 hours a week is slowly fading away. Trust me , you know it’s getting bad when you work 2 jobs and you can’t even get 40 hours between both of em! I mean WHAT THE F*&@K!!!!

You know life is funny sometime, and so are people. There are good people in this world, and I know a few. Overtime I’ve made good ASSOCIATES or AQUAINTANCES. Now notice I didn’t say FRIENDS!

 You see those are very hard to come by. Many of us use the term friend very loosely, but you see; TRUE FRIENDS are like diamonds, THEY ARE VERY RARE. Now when I was younger I never knew what that ment, but you can bet your grand daddy’s farm I know now. I was talking to one of  my “associates” a couple of days ago, and he happened to be bragging about how many friends he had. This got me to thinking about an incident that happened to me a couple of years ago.

I had the unfortunate experience of loosing my job. No big deal- many of us average people have been there at sometime or another. (RIGHT) ok. We also know when this happens, sometimes things can start to spiral downward very quickly. (RIGHT) ok. Now  let me let ya’ll in on a little secret about me, I am not a selfish person, I always have and been known to help others out whenever possible. Wether it be lending money to someone, or giving someone a place to stay for a period of time. I also would give people rides if they needed it. I admit it, sometimes I’m just too nice. I do often lookout for people who I consider to be GOOD FRIENDS. That’s just me!

What was funny about this, was the same people I’ve helped out in the past, I considered them to be friends, and vice-versa. I don’t know, mabey it’s just me, but I think people have a different perspective on what a friend is. The reason I say this is because when I did fall on hard times I couldn’t seem to get help from anyone.

In the HARSH times I HAD NO MONEY, NO FOOD, and NO LIGHTS. I couldn’t get a ride from anyone, and if I did, they would charge gas money. Now ain’t that a B#@*&! I can truly say there was never a time that I charged anyone gas money when I gave them a ride, and that’s even if they offered money. Eventually I got another job and got back on my feet again. Might I say with no help.

That little experience really shedded some light on people in general. Specifically those that call themselves friends. It’s funny you know, when I look back on my childhood I could truly say that I had friends. Children are so scincere when it comes to friendships. Theres no playing favorites among them, they are not predjudice, and they treat each other the same. They are also very honest and they speak what they feel. They are just better at forming and maintaining friendship than adults are.

Kind of embarassing for us adults wouldn’t you think.

Now I don’t believe any dictionary can really define the true meaning of friendship, being that it holds a different meaning to so many different people. In my opinion the meaning of a friend is:

2 or more people who will not betray each others trust.

2 or more people who have each others back through thick and thin ( the good times and the bad)

2 or more people who spend quality time with each other, and will listen to each others problems.

2 or more people who will empathize and sympathize with each others emotions.

2 or more people who will make sacrifices to please and help each other, and maintain a healthy relationship.

Again these are just my interpertations of what a true friendship is to me. Most people I know do not  naturally possess all of these qualities. They either do one or the other, but not all. Like I said earlier, my past experience has really opened my eyes about people in general. I’ve come to the conclusion that most people really don’t know how to be a friend, or what it entails, sad to say. That experience has also changed me to  the extent of watching my own personal habits, and how helpful and carefree going to people that I am and should continue to be.                                                                                                   

True friends LOVE and RESPECT each other. They also maintain a high level of TRUST, which is the MAIN factor of a FRIENDSHIP.

So the next time you let the word friend come out of your mouth, sit back and evaluate how many true friends you REALLY have. Evaluate what each of your socalled personal friends really bring to the table. Most importantly, evaluate YOURSELF to see HOW GOOD of a FRIEND YOU REALLY ARE!

Today I want to give ya’ll an illustration – ya know, just to give you something to think about.

   Picture this:

A man goes out, and for whatever reason COMMITS a CRIME. He gets caught, and goes to PRISON for x amount of years. Having had plenty of time to reflect on past events, his heart now changes for the better. He pays his debt to society, and upon his release, he plans to stay out of trouble, and better his life. Reformed with a CRIMINAL record, and out of prison, he now has a new positive outlook on life.

All he wants to do now is get a job and move on to better things, and redeem himself.

Sounds good wouldn’t ya think?

There is hope for mankind after all. “YEAH RIGHT” believe that if you wanna!

Heres the PROBLEM:

Being that he now has a criminal record, every job that he applies for results in him not getting hired. His BACKGROUND now becomes a MAJOR obstacle that NEGATIVELY affects his life, and stands in his path to redemption. As a CONVICTED FELON he now becomes an OUTCAST! His basic need and rights, FOOD, SHELTER, MONEY, and CLOTHING have now been taken from him. Oh and lets not forget that if he has a FAMILY  to support they too are affected by this delima!

Over a period of time this man begins to question himself -

AM I A HUMAN BEING?

AM I WORTHY OF FORGIVENESS?

Most of all -

AM I A MAN?

Now I ask you-

How long must this man be punished for a sin he commited years ago?

Our so called GOVERNMENT, and SOCIETY itself profess to uphold the laws of this nation, yet they consistentley prove otherwise! They claim to forgive those who would do wrong, yet they turn their backs on the people who sometimes make stupid mistakes but scincerely want to CHANGE their ways. How can these once broken people prove to themselves and the world, that they can, and have changed if no one gives them the chance?

How can they become productive citizens, and give back to the community if we continue to PERSECUTE and CONDEMN them?

That’s just what is…

CONDEMNATION!

Think about this, are we ourselves that innocent and free of sin, that we have the right to condemn our fellowman?  Time and again, facts show that just because you lock a man up does not mean he is going to change his ways. This is something that he has to want to do in his heart. The ones that scincerely want to change should be given the chance to do so. We should not further oppress, and persecute them for past errors.

Learning from your mistakes is still possible, when I last checked.

Continued PERSECUTION of people, in time will only cause retaliation.  This also makes us no better than the ones who have sinned against us to began with.  In conclusion I say this -

Our govenment and society hates to take responsibility for their own mistakes and crimes. THAT IS FACT!  Our GOVERNMENT commits CRIMES against this nation everyday. THAT IS FACT!

They say they want to stop crime, yet they let tons of DRUGS into this country every year!

They say they want to stop crime, yet they allow the distribution of ALCOHOL, TABBACO, and GUNS in our communities, knowing these things are slowly DESTROYING our nation.

They are the biggest FELONS walking the face of this earth!

WHO’S GOING TO LOCK THEM UP?

WHO’S GOING TO CONDEMN THEM?

WHO’S GOING TO PUT THAT X ON THEIR BACKS?

People are willing, ready, and able to point out the problems in anything and anyone but are not as efficient at voicing an opinion of even a single possible solution to the problem at hand. I recently had a conversation with someone who debated with me that black people do not do anything positive or supportive for the betterment of our people.

I think we do, in many ways, but I believe it could be much greater.

First off, we have to stop cursing ourselves by refraining from making these past and present factual statements, because these negative truths do not encourage positive change in our people. All it does is promote the same unfruitful patterns to continue on, which in turn contributes to us not prospering. As easy as saying uplifting things seems, It’s really a great challenge I have noticed for our people. I believe this is because we have been taught to speak poorly about ourselves, and have been doing so for centuries.

I suggest abstaining from any kind of negative implications of our people and  encouraging others to do the same.  We are surrounded by negativity, and so it benefits no one, especially ourselves,to state the obvious. Wether in casual conversation, disciplining the youth, or merely in jest, we need to just stop.

Anyone at anytime could witness us doing any of these acts and be affected. Words, the feeling behind them, and the way they are expressed is a powerful combination. They can edify someone to the utmost, and motivate them to achieve great success, and they can dismantle someones self esteem, and make them feel like their life is meaningless.

I believe words affect us black people the most because we can harness the power of them easier than non blacks. This is because we are more of an emotional people. THAT WOULD MEAN THAT WE ARE OUR BIGGEST HINDERANCE.

We should manifest encouragement tangibly. The individual I conversed with, I believe, realized what he was saying, and inverted it, and did something positive by challenging me to do something positive. He challenged me to compose this article and sweetened the pot by adding a little something extra that I would enjoy once I turned it in to him by his deadline.

I, being the revolutionary that I am, was ready for the challenge, and look forward to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. We receive “bribes” for being negative and doing harmful things, so why not try offering rewards for being uplifting and hopeful. I haven’t written anything, besides poetry, in a while, but I Iove to write, and I love to express my thougts and feelings. More than that, I love to uplift my people.

We are a beautiful black people comprised of many cultures, colors, and crafts which attribute to the power that we yield, that I believe we are not fully aware of. I feel that a lot of non black people know this, and therefore intentionally add to the state of confusion that black people have been in since our most prominent ancestors, the africans, were first brought to this country.

CHAPTER 2

We should, and this might seem radical for us, follow suit of some of the methods that other races, ethnicities, and cultures use. Since we are all trying to get ahead we need to work together and stop acting like crabs in a barrel by pulling each other down on our journey to the top. We should consider having several income earners dwell under the same roof and make it happen.

It could work if we group up with people who seriously want to achieve success like ourselves, and are willing to compromise their learned values and behavior to do so. It would be a bit more challenging for us to accomplish, than it is for non blacks, because most other races that practice this type of living situation have the same upbringing and culture, but the greater the challenge the more awesome and fulfilling the compensation.

Soon others would follow suit because of our example. LEADERS SET THE STANDARD BY EXAMPLE.

 For one, we need to start saving more and spending less. Every other race, ethnicity, and culture is getting rich off of our spending habits!

We need to write out budgets for ourselves, and adhere to them!

 

It would also help if we had other non blacks to hold us accountable on our budgets. This is because it would subdue any mishaps in spending.

 

We should also have a reward in place for ourselves for adhering to our guidelines.

 

However, we would need to constantly be held accountable, because there are numerous forces in our society that entice us to be frivolous spenders. Especially some of our own black celebrities who are currently financially successful, and consistently earn their wealth by being unfruitful to their own people.

We need not look up to those who do not truly reflect who we are and what we really should become. We would need this until we achieved our ultimate desired financial objective in life and hopefully  we would have learned how to maintain it by that point.

We would eliminate our debt this way because we would not be trying to borrow from Peter to pay Paul or keep up with the “Joneses.”

Just imagine the possibilities. We would, all together, change us. WE SHOULD STOP WAITING TO BE LED and TAKE THE LEAD. It is in us and probably in someone close to us that we look up to. Will you be complacent with where you are until your spirit no longer occupies it’s body? IS THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?

ARE YOU TRYING TO HAVE WHAT OTHERS HAVE FOR THE SAKE OF FITTING IN?

IS THAT REALISTIC TO YOU?

Start a book study group and begin unlocking the mysteries of your being. Organize weekly or monthly outings and go and speak to the youth. Take them out for icecream while implanting positive ideas into their soul. We all need it. I challenge you. You WILL get the same in return I promise!

   FOR THE LAST CENTURY IT HAS BEEN!

 Peace for everyone has been an elusive goal.  Yet violence and worldwide destruction has been an all to real nightmare. VIOLENCE has plagued mankind sense the beginning of time, starting when Cain killed his brother Able. Bloodshed continues on through to the present day.

Alfred Bernhard Nobel a swedish industrialist and chemist became wealthy from selling weapons of war. He was also called the “merchant of death” because of the fact that he invented dynamite. He amassed a fortune selling lethal explosives.

He had the strange notion that as weapons became more deadly, war would become less likely. As you can see in this day and age that notion turned out to be very untrue. He died in 1896, however war and violence increased across the globe.    

HERE ARE THE FACTS! 

IN 1914 WORLD WAR 1 BROKE OUT. This conflict introduced a whole slew of new deadly weapons to the world, including FLAMETHROWERS,  MACHINE GUNS, TANKS, SUBMARINES, POISON GAS and AIRPLANES.

An estimated ten million soldiers were killed and nearly twice that were wounded.

 

           

IN 1939 WORLD WAR11 BROKE OUT. This conflict was even more horrendus than the first. The number of soldiers killed was even greater.

IN 1941 – The attacks on PEARL HARBOR take place. This results in the death of 2403 people. Most of the casualties were sailors.  64 japanese perished as well.

FROM 1945 – 1975 the VIETNAM WAR would pit the Americans against the Vietnamese.

These are just some of the greatest wars to take place in the history of mankind. There are also many smaller conflicts that continue to plague the globe. Many countries around the world fight and kill in the name of GOD!

Troops would be blessed by clergy before going off into battle to shed blood!

NOW I WANT TO ASK YOU-

 WHAT MAKES OUR GOVERNMENTS AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS THINK THAT WE WOULD EVEN HAVE GODS BLESSING TO GO OUT AND KILL  OUR FELLOW MAN? I thought he said “THOU SHALL NOT KILL“?

If I remember correctly this is one of his TEN Commandments.

I DONT THINK GOD IS TO PLEASED WITH THIS NATION RIGHT NOW!

In the last century WEAPONS have proliferated. They are all around us. Hey, just take a strole to your local pawn shop. Take a look at the arsenals they have for sale.

AT CHEAP PRICES TO!!

I wish education was this cheap LOL!

SMALL ARMS and LIGHT WEAPONS are now the standard. These include HANDGUNS, MACHINE GUNS, MORTARS, GRENADES, RIFLES and other portable devices. Remember these  are inexpensive to purchase and manufacture. They are easy to maintain, and even easier to use.

90 percent of casualties in recent wars have been the result of small arms and light weapons. During the 1990’s more than 4 million people were killed by those devices.

Lets not forget there are close to 60 million landmines buried across the globe. In the 20th century about 70 people on the average were being maimed or killed by landmines each day.

Everyone knows we now dwell in the dawn of the NUCLEAR age. People feel a NUCLEAR WAR is inevitable, and is just a matter of time before it happens. Governments have produced tons of NUCLEAR WEAPONS.  Now let’s not get into the ramblings of the COMMITTEE on NUCLEAR POLICY and their morbid reasons for building these weapons of mass destruction, But I do want you know this-

just 1 NUCLEAR WARHEAD could destroy this earth 7 times over.

see the Hiroshima and Nagasaki incident.

As you can see, War and VIOLENCE are embedded in American culture. The taking of human life is almost made to be looked at as something normal. The movies we watch, the video games our children play, the syndicated television shows our eyes consume on a daily bases has totally desensitize us to violence. Our nation has made these atrocities a way of life!

Now who is behind this destructive way of life?

Who can we blame for most of the violent behaviour in our society?

AH HAA none other than your GOVERNMENT!!!

Have you ever heard the term “OUR KIDS ARE THE FUTURE” ? I have, but nowadays that term doesn’t quite sit well with me. Why you ask? Well as I reminisce about my days growing up at home, I can’t help but compare how I was as a youth to how this generation of kids are in this day and time. I have to admit it really SCARES me. I REALIZE that times have changed DRASTICLEY sense then.

The ATTITUDE coming from this generation of kids is nothing less than DISPICABLE! They SHOW a lack of INTEREST in anything remoteley geared toward EDUCATING their minds. They are EXTREMELY REBELLIOUS and DISRESPECTFUL (some of them our children). They DISPLAY an IGNORANCE that’s beyond belief, and it makes you wonder WHAT the hell happened within the last 30 to 40 so years!??

Now I ask you- what’s BREEDING this atmosphere of CHAOS and DESTRUCTION that THREATEN’S to SWALLOW up our prescious youth? To be honest I can’t answer that question, but let me take you back for a moment.

When I was growing up:

    1- I had a curfew, and HANGING OUT all times of night wasn’t an option for me. I had to be in before the street lights came on.

   2- Keeping the house CLEAN was a must. I had a chore list that had to be followed everyday. This included keeping my room clean and washing dishes.

   3- WATCHING tv all day everyday was absolutely out of the question, especially on a SCHOOL night. My HOMEWORK was checked regularley by my parent’s.

   4- I had RULES and REGULATIONS I had to follow. When it came to DISCIPLINE, I had it. So if you got out of line you got your tail whipped. There was absolutely no talking back to your parent’s.

   5- We also had RELIGION in the home, so church was a major factor in my life.

Now sit back and think about these 5 factors for a minute. This was and still is the basic family routine that instilled good decent values in children. It appears to me though, in my everyday experience, and what i see, the FAMILY structure has BROKEN down completely. It’s almost non existant in our communities.

Now Im not one to GENERALIZE or STEREOTYPE anything or anyone. True enough there are some UPSTANDING young adults setting and excellent example that lord knows many of us need to follow, but take a look around your neighborhoods and communities and tell me what you see.

In mine I see young supposedly men running around with their pant’s SAGGING down off their backsides, half of them will not wear a belt to save their life. Some of them will even try to GET A JOB dressed like that! I mean (ARE YOU KIDDING ME) ??

Many of them have completely DROPPED out of SCHOOL. So good luck on trying to get them to READ a BOOK, much less getting them to EDUCATE their MIND’S. I see kids 13 and 14 years old SMOKING and DRINKING all day everyday with no motivation to do anything else except play VIDEO GAMES and break into peoples houses. Would someone please tell me WHERE ARE THE PARENT’S?

The way some of these TEENAGERS talk to their mothers is REPREHENSIBLE! If we were back in bible times they would be taken out in the middle of the street and STONED to death in front of everyone. Be glad those days have passed, I’ll tell you that.

Last but not least, the BLACK ON BLACK VIOLENCE and CRIME brings SHAME to our race as a whole. Our PENAL system is full of AFRICAN AMERICANS. What’s more FRIGHTENING is the number of young adults being INCARCERATED before the age of 18.

Our race is in peril, PLEASE believe this! Our children are CONFUSED, CORRUPTED and ANGRY, with no real GUIDANCE and no HOPE of a bright future, and as each generation of children gets WORST than the last, SOCIETY had better take a serious look at this SOCIAL ISSUE, and rethink the serious process of raising children.

In closing I would have to say, this GENERATION OF KIDS IS IN TURMOIL, and if it’s our kids that are suppose to run this country in the future, then i hate to say it, but our future looks very BLEEK!
